 Hi, I'm 39 years old and work for the software company, Oracle, running a software development team based in Reading. I'm also a member of Oracle's UK Corporate Citizenship Board. In my younger years I was quite adventurous, undertaking many long road trips through North America, rock climbing, white-water kayaking, a bit of mountaineering, etc. My wife and I are now settled in Buckinghamshire and have two lovely daughters aged 18 months and 4 years. I'm British and my wife is American, and she really enjoys living in the UK. Our adventurous side has been on hold for the last few years or so but my wife, Linda, has now kindly agreed to let me go off on this mission to Mongolia in the summer. We're really looking forward to it, but the hardest part is going to be being away from my family for four weeks! I'll be taking a mini laptop and camera phone and will post updates to our website whenever we have network coverage. Handing the ambulance over to the charity at the end of the journey will make it all worth while.
